Wash the Car: How to Find Rare Cars and Get Bigger, Richer Vehicles to Wash
How to get the chance to wash rarer, richer vehicles in Wash the Car: buy each zone unlock in order, click the multipliers on new arrivals, and keep expanding.
Rarer and richer vehicles in Wash the Car don't hide somewhere on the map — they come to you. Every bigger vehicle class is tied to a zone unlock that you buy with cash earned from washing. Buy the second car-wash spot, then the helipad zone, then the boat dock, then the airport, and each purchase starts pulling a bigger class of vehicle into your wash. While you work toward those purchases, the most reliable way to make each job pay more is simple: click the multiplier prompts that appear above every newly arrived vehicle.
The unlock order that brings bigger vehicles
Zones open in sequence, and each one must be purchased before its vehicle class starts arriving:
| Unlock (name on the sign) | What it brings to your wash | Price seen in one run |
|---|---|---|
| Second car-wash spot | A second bay for road traffic; richer road cars and customers arrive later as the whole wash grows | 18 million |
| Unlock helipad zone | Helicopters, plus further helipads and water sprays | A fourth helipad cost 70T |
| Boat dock | Jet skis and boats, with submarines arriving later | The next boat cost 100 quadrillion |
| Airport | Planes come down to be washed | — |
Prices are printed on the unlock signs in-game and shift between updates, so treat every figure as a ballpark rather than a target. The neighboring plots on the map also show dedicated rocket, helicopter and boat wash areas. All of it is funded by washing itself, and the income and tip upgrades ("More income", "bigger tips", brushes, sprayers) are bought from signs the same way and raise payouts. For the building side, see the Wash the Car how to build a car wash and best build order guides.
Click the prompts above every new arrival
When a vehicle or customer rolls in, prompt buttons appear above it. Clicking them multiplies that job's payout: early on, clicking fresh arrivals made payouts jump to 1M at once, and clicking the prompts over a helicopter returning to its pad paid out 120B in a single job — one helper even granted a 50x boost on top of the clicks. Players who push deep into the game sum it up the same way: press the multipliers above every newly entered vehicle, because that's when income noticeably grows.
One catch: only the area you are actively working shows clickable prompts. While you wash one side, the other side's prompts don't appear.
Wash to 100% for the payout — and the tips
The money lands when a vehicle's cleanliness meter reaches 100% (an 85% reading means work is still left). Spray, brush and wipe until the meter fills, and the job pays out, with better jobs adding tips. Helpers can finish vehicles automatically, but you can still click the multipliers above them while they work for extra income. New to the cleaning loop? What shows up as your wash grows
As your wash expands and gets upgraded, richer road cars start mixing with the base traffic: one run saw an S-class G65 pull in and a "sultan" customer tip 600,000, and a well-grown wash can even receive work cars sent over by a regular client. By the late game, the cars on the front lot pay pocket change compared with aircraft jobs worth billions.
In late-game runs, with the helipad, dock and airport already open, unusual typed vehicles have arrived among the normal traffic: a "Musk" plane on its first visit, a "legendary" jet ski at the dock, rust-streaked submarines, and planes carrying markings players read as CX, SX, OG and a diamond — as one player put it, the wash "gives lots of tech and secret ones too, and different types." They wash exactly like any other arrival, and those labels are readings off the vehicles themselves, not confirmed rarity tiers. For everything documented so far, see the Wash the Car rare cars page and the full Wash the Car vehicles list.
Mind the gates and the arrival schedule
- Unlocks gate each other. Some upgrades stay locked until the current section is finished — an "upgrade fully locked" message clears once the part in progress is done, and one character states it outright: you must finish this part to get the plane. If a sign won't sell to you, complete the section it's tied to first.
- Vehicles arrive on their own schedule. A helicopter will depart and later return, with the click prompts reappearing when it lands — meanwhile other jobs keep coming one after another. Washing runs straight through the day/night cycle, so keep working through the night shifts.
Optional boosts, if you want them
The in-game shop stocks only three Robux items — a starter pack, a "server luck" item, and 2x cash gain — sold as optional ways to progress faster. Everything above is bought with washed cash, not Robux; for free boosts, keep an eye on the codes page, and the updates page tracks new content as it lands.
